ABOUT US

The Pinellas Weavers Guild was formed in 1946 in Pinellas County, Florida for the purpose of continuing the art of handweaving and other fiber arts, and preserving them for future generations. We meet on the first Saturday of every month to demonstrate and work on small projects in the McMullen House at Heritage Village. Our general meetings run monthly from September through May and the Guild sponsors workshops during which nationally and internationally recognized instructors come to teach. Members also conduct mini-workshops to share their areas of expertise.

In addition to handweaving, guild members practice spinning, dyeing, bobbin lace, kumihimo and other related fiber arts.
